How often does AnswerScout check?
Once per day. Every plan gets one automatic run per day, and your trend builds from there. See Your first run.
Do the assistants use live web search?
Yes. Every assistant answers with live web search enabled, so your results reflect the current web — not stale model training data.
Why does my score change day to day?
AI answers naturally vary between runs. AnswerScout smooths your displayed score across recent runs to filter out that noise, which is why the trend matters more than any single day. See The visibility score.
How is this different from an SEO tool?
SEO tools measure where you rank on a search results page. AnswerScout measures whether AI assistants mention and recommend you in their answers — a different surface, and increasingly where buyers start. See What is AnswerScout?.
Can I track more than one brand?
Yes, up to five brands per account with the extra-brands add-on. Your prompt and competitor limits are pooled across all your brands. See Multiple brands.
Can I share my results?
Yes. AnswerScout can generate a shareable report and a PDF of your visibility, so you can send a snapshot to teammates or stakeholders without giving them dashboard access.
What happens when my trial ends?
You’ll choose a paid plan to keep going — the trial doesn’t become a permanent free tier. Your data is preserved either way. See Trials.
Can I get alerts when something changes?
On Growth and higher, yes — AnswerScout can post to a Slack channel or call a webhook when a run finishes, your score drops, or a competitor overtakes you.
